Yesterday (12/15/11), Dr. John Dunn testified before a circuit judge in Indiana. He brought the Judicial Reference Manual on Scientific Evidence and a compilation of the studies (former Surgeon General) Carmona used and just how the risk ratios of secondhand smoke (1.3) would NOT stand up in a court of law, according to the Manual. The Judicial Reference Manual on Scientific Evidence requires a risk ratio of 2.0 before scientific evidence can be admitted as evidence of fact.

"Expert" for the State, Dr. Chaloupka just testified that he received close to $50,000,000.00 (in funding to promote issues such as how "deadly" secondhand smoke is) from RWJF.......He also testified that RWJF operated (profited) on their Johnson & Johnson stocks, and YES, they DO benefit from their sales of (Johnson & Johnson products) Nicoderm, Nicorette, Nicotrol.....

By the way, air quality testing of secondhand smoke conducted or sponsored by pro-smoking ban activists such as Johns Hopkins, the American Cancer Society, the University of Washington, an environmental health department, etc. some of which were published in the British Medical Journal, proves that SHS is 4 to 25,000 times SAFER than OSHA workplace air quality regulations; IE.
