Smoking bans are as hazardous to your health as a 15-a-day cigarette habit

New peer reviewed study here, says "social isolation, in the long term, is as damaging as a 15-a-day cigarette habit...."

And we know that smoking bans have eliminated thousands of establishments that people relied on for social interaction. With those aforementioned private establishments now closed, many tens of thousands of people find themselves in isolation where they would have otherwise (before smoking bans) gathered with friends and acquaintances for good times and comradery.

So it is ironic that the very government intervention which was supposed to save people from the hazards of tobacco "health issues" really did little more than swap one health hazard for another just as devastating.

Then again, if you follow the (Nicoderm / RWJF) money you'll realize that health wasn't the primary motive for promoting smoking bans afterall.
