U.K. operator to close down 22 pubs due to business decline from smoking ban
Online article is found here:Chief executive Paul Symonds e-mailed managers at the start of this week to say that the smoking ban.......had affected the business.
“We have some leasehold pubs on the wet-led side that with the smoking ban are not performing well.”
The closure of 22 sites is being referred to internally as a “structured shutdown”.
There is not one instance, where smoking bans have increased the number of hospitality establishments. The facts remain........smoking bans eliminate jobs and businesses wherever they are enacted.
