Clearing The Air

MPAAT's lack of credibility.............

............began a few years back when they ran this scam ad about a woman who had cancer. (update 3/1/06: it is obvious from the dead link that MPAAT demanded this link be removed, but for the record the ad originally aired on WFTC UPN29 (Minneapolis, MN), 2003-01-11; more information can be found at this link.)

Problem was, this woman did not have cancer and in fact, turned out to be a paid actress. It seems MPAAT, like the other anti-smoking activists will stop at nothing to foster the fear mongering atmosphere they so desperately need to force their agenda on every Minnesotan and beyond. The problem of course is that their agenda destroys businesses and livelihoods as evidenced here:
