Phillip Morris 3rd quarter profits up 20.6% despite smoking ban agenda to reduce tobacco use

Cigarette manufacturer Philip Morris International Inc. (PM: News ), spun-off of from tobacco company Altria Group Inc. (MO: News ), announced Wednesday morning that its third quarter profit rose 20.6% from the year-ago quarter

The other stated agenda by smoking ban activist groups is to increase business for the hospitality industry......but that's proving to be a grossly exaggerated side effect of the business crippling legislation as well.
